    So, first you opt to backup your existing site, then go to your new site, install the same plug-in there and then import the old files via the backup you just did.

    But…

    Firstly, you’re lucky if it backs it up in the first place. It may take several attempts with random luck as to whether it does so without error.

    But secondly and worst of all, is that when restoring, it can just wipe out your new site’s wordpress install, meaning you have to re-install it from scratch. And it’s fairly likely to happen.

    Firstly, there is server requeriments and maybe a few advanced options (if your site is too big) to make it work.

    Secondly, that is exactly what is supposed to happen amigo, read before clicking stuff.

    …and you have nothing to loose…. installing a new wordpress is really the smallest problems of all.
