 * Hi! Yes, we fully support AVIF as well as WebP.
 * The plugin uses Imagick to resize the image locally on your server. If the installed
   version does not support transparency in AVIF (older version than 6.9.12-68, 
   [see Debian issue ticket](https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1040307)),
   it will fall back to WebP for images with transparency automatically so that 
   everything works correctly.
