    Hi,

    If I want to add my own avatar image on my own blog site without using any third-party avatar services, how can I accomplish this?
    Thanks.

    Just to clarify, I would like to set up a local avatar for only me (ONLY admin) on my own blog WITHOUT plugin. I am using Twenty Ten theme.

    If anybody knows how to, please guide. thanks.

    At my blog, the admin and the author are one and the same ( same one person). I want to show local avatar for the admin/author only.

    Please guide or point me in the right direction if someone knows how to do it withiout plugin and the third-party services like gravatar, etc. Thanks

    First upload your avatar image through media section. Then write following code according your choice:

    <img src="[IMAGE PATH]" />

    Thanks

    Thanks chinmoy29,

    I uploaded avatar image through media section. It shows up in media section of my dashboard with “site url”…

    Then write following code according your choice:

    <img src=”[IMAGE PATH]” />

    I do not understand this at all. Please pardon my ignorance for i am not a dev or programmer.

    How i make this avatar appear in comments of the admin (which is same as the author)?

    Thanks again for your help and time.

    <img src="http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/[imagename]" />

    change http://www.yourdomain.com and [imagename].

    Hi chinmoy29,

    <img src=”http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/[imagename]” />

    Where I place the above (i.e., which file and location)?
    Thanks chinmoy29.
