# Avatar – Maximum Rating

    I am able to create an avatar through [http://en.gravatar.com/](http://en.gravatar.com/)
   and able to display in my wordpress site.
 * But Please clarify the meaning of the below.
 * G — Suitable for all audiences
    PG — Possibly offensive, usually for audiences
   13 and above R — Intended for adult audiences above 17 X — Even more mature than
   above
 * Whether this will filter based on age of the registered users? how this will 
   work?
 * Please clarify

 * Any site that displays Gravatars is able to set the maximum allowed rating to
   be displayed.
 * For example, my blog does not display Gravatars with a rating higher than PG,
   and this forum does not display Gravatars with a rating higher than G.
