# Avada Theme Broken

 * I updated the most recent version of Avada and saw an internal error that states
   the theme is broken. Is there a fix for this? This is my client’s website.

 * The Appearance > Themes does not list the Avada theme. This message is on thge
   bottom of the screen,
 * “Broken Themes
 * The following themes are installed but incomplete.
 * Name Description
    Avada Template is missing. Standalone themes need to have a
   index.php template file. Child themes need to have a Template header in the style.
   css stylesheet.”
