Support » Plugin: Permalink Manager Pro » Autoupdate custom tags permalinks after update

  • Hi,

I have a simple structure for a custom taxonomy (tags) attached to a post type. the structure is %custom_tag_slug%. My tax slug is “eticheta_obiective”, plural “etichete_obiective”. Here’s a screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/zV3Vqib.png

Every time I’m adding a new tag via add new within post editor, the newly created permalink keeps the default prefix, which is “eticheta-obiective/%eticheta_obiective%”. To update it I have to regenerate URLs.

For other post types and taxonomies, it doesn’t happen. But all the others custom post types and custom taxonomies were created and had their permastructure setup before the update. So I guess this is a thing.

Writing here and not on the website, because it may help others too.

I have a feeling this can be fixed from Pods, used to create the custom taxonomy.

    Hi @catalinfx,

Do you possibly have any staging website where I can debug this issue? Also, could you send me a sample screenshot with post editor and section where you add new tags?
