  • I have been happily using Disqus since 2015. If I had reviewed Disqus before, I would have given it 5 stars.

    But with the latest update, auto syncing no longer works, this plugin has a conflict with the iThemes Security plugin (but there is no documentation to explain how to resolve the conflict), Disqus has suddenly decided that comments older than 2 days cannot be edited, and Disqus masks the email and IP addresses of commenters.

    Manual syncing is mostly working but at this point, after repeatedly trying, I am unable to move 5 comments from Disqus to my WordPress blog.

    Disqus Support appears to be non-existent.

    Unless these issues are resolved, it’s with great regret that I will have to disable the plugin.
