Autosave Issue – Preview and Publish ends up in 403 Error

  • The Stats:

WordPress 3.4.2 on Linux server. Twentyeleven child theme. Everything works like a charm.

    The Problem:

I don´t know since when but with the 3.4.2 it first caught my attention that the Autosave interval setting (to: 900) in my wp-config.php seems to be ignored. WP is making autosaves after a couple of settings and in Firefox that´s not causing any problems, it´s showing me that there might be an autosave that´s more recent than the version I´m working on right now. Kind of annoying but that doesn´t ruin my life so far.

However in Chrome I´m getting a 430 Forbidden Error when I preview or save a post that seems to have a newer autosave version.

(Also when searching for plugins internally but not every time??)

Can anyone confirm that issue and is there a way to fix that?
