Autoptomize Not Working On Mobile Sinatra Theme

    Thank you for reading, everyone.

    I really appreciate the Autoptomize plugin and have found it to be really beneficial – I’m just having a little issue with the mobile side of things

    The website I am working on at https://thewatts.one appears to not have Autoptimize working on mobile, when I run speed testing at PageSpeed Insights it reports a 92 for desktop and a 65 for mobile, with all the issues raised that which Autoptmize is set to fix (next gen images, unused CSS, Javascript, etc)

    I’m using the Sinatra Theme and hope someone can point me to what I might be missing to have the site up to 90 somethings allround (which it was before and I don’t know what changed!)

    re. “unused JS/ CSS”: AO can’t fix that I’m afraid.

    re. “render blocking CSS”: have a look at “inline & defer CSS”, see the AO FAQ for more info

    re. “next-gen images”: only wp-content/uploads/2020/07/WATTS-Company-NRWatts-Niall-Rhys-Watts-NRWATTS-Watts-UPCEND-1.png is listed, it’s probably a background image set in the CSS which AO can’t switch to webp. making it a jpeg iso a png would help a lot already 🙂
