Support » Plugin: Autoptimize » Autoptimize’s Own CSS Blocking Rendering

  • Resolved Elkerton

Autoptimize is successfully handling all CSS with CSS Options set to optimize and aggregate; however, Autoptimize’s own CSS file is blocking rendering of the site: https://[domain name]/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/css/autoptimize_b611339b1f435a9a4c5a52c45831e845.css

Why is this file not addressed with the optimize and aggregate selected?

That’s because the default and safe way to optimize CSS is to simply link it in head Elkerton. As you can read in the FAQ you can switch to “inline all css” (easy) or “inline & defer” (better) to make the css non-render-blocking.

    hope this clarifies,

Got it – thank you Frank. Great plugin. Great support. 5-stars easy.
