    Hello,

First I want to thank you for the great job you did with this plugin and with the fact that you mantain it very well responding very fast to all the questions.

Secondly I want to ask you a question and a suggestion in the end.

Currently I use Related Posts by Zemanta on my website. Autoptimize combines all my js files an minimize them and place them in footer..besides 1 js file called loader.js which it seem load not locally but from another server (https://wprp.zemanta.com/static/js/loader.js?version=3.6).

The script looks like this <script type=”text/javascript” src=”https://wprp.zemanta.com/static/js/loader.js?version=3.6&#8243; async></script> and not only that it’s not stored locally but this line of code is placed in the header also.

So my question is, what I should do next to improve performance, page speed, page load speed? Because this is my main target. This script takes like 300ms which is very much to block the page. If at least it was defer, it would be probably better considering this http://www.growingwiththeweb.com/2014/02/async-vs-defer-attributes.html.

Do you have any experience with this plugin? How to make it work with Autoptimize? Do you have any other suggestions, mabey use another similar plugin for related posts more optimized with the same flexibility?

    Thanks, waiting for you answer

no experience with that I’m afraid. I use “yet another related posts plugin”, but I’m not that happy with it (it generates quite the system load).

maybe check with the Zementa developers to see if the JS can be loaded locally?

I am 99% sure that they won’t bother to do something, that’s why I sent you this message 🙂 . I did write to them, and I currently wait for their response.

    Thanks

you could try the “async/ defer js” plugin, maybe that will add the defer attrib?
