Hi after running a test on web.dev I look at the report and there is unused css and render-blocking resources caused by Autoptimize

    /wp-content/cache/autoptimize/css/autoptimize_f2fb8879cc6139f4aee1db6fd8cd9b04.css (2mb!)

how do I get rid of this ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks

unused CSS cannot be fixed a an Autoptimize level; AO simply combines all CSS found in a page, so if you want to cut down on the amount of CSS you’ll probably have to make changes at (child) theme level and plugins used (potentially using e.g. “plugin organizer” which allows you to selectively disable plugins which stops their CSS from being added).

regarding render-blocking CSS; have a look at “inline & defer”-options, more info in AO’s FAQ.

    hope this clarifies,
