I have a membership form that processes payments through Stripe, and it seems like the settings I used with the plugin conflicted with the payment processing functioning properly. (The form does not load and I get a site error).

I tried disabling autoptimize and the issue was still there. Do I need to re-upload my membership plugin to overwrite changes that were made? I added the JS folder for the plugin to the excludes scripts area after it broke, but that did not do anything. Any thoughts on how to use both plugins together? Thanks!

If the error is still there when AO is disabled (and you’ve cleared any page cache you might have), then the error isn’t due to AO as it does not make any changes to original JS/CSS llunderman.

I have the same issue. When Autooptimize enabled the stripe gateway is not loading. When I disable it everything works fine.

Is there a way to exclude checkout page from optimization?

sure; assuming you’re on woocommerce or edd; simply uncheck the misc option “also optimize cart/ checkout” and you’re good to go 🙂
