So something that concerns me about autopimize…

When it does a re-cache it obviously starts using a new filename, however anyone holding a cache of a page, IE GOOGLE CACHE will still be trying to load a previous version of the CSS.

So from the link ive shared here you can see that all the CSS is missing because when you create a new optimize file you delete the old one… This is not good at all.

Is there a way to manage this so we can keep old caches, or at least force the old paths to just load the new cache maybe?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

well, that’s the thing, AO does not delete the old files Dean 🙂

    what might be happening:
    * you changed AO settings upon which the cache is cleared
    * some other plugin/ theme is calling autoptimizeCache::clearall() method (which I think is a mistake)

    hope this clarifies,

closing as not due to AO itself, but in case you use the Divi theme; that one turns out to be purging AO’s cache after posts/ pages being published (or saved even?). It should not do that, feel free to tell them 🙂
