AutoPosting Function

Hi
I have onesignal push notifications and nextscripts autopost to social media plugins installed that automatically update social media and send push notification when I hit post publish. However, when I publish by email via postie, those plugins are not triggered. My question is how come hitting the publish button manually triggers these plugins and doing it via email by postie does not?
