    Hi guys,

I finally made the plunge and updated to the latest version but in doing so, it seems auto posting has stopped working.

That's my current log above. I've been waiting for nearly an hour now for it to auto post.

It worked perfectly on version 3.8.8 under the same setup so not sure what I'm missing. It would auto post without fail in under five minutes. All I've done is update the plugin. No changes to cron etc. Is there anything else I can check/do?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Do you have WP Cron setup correctly?
    http://www.nextscripts.com/tutorials/wp-cron-scheduling-tasks-in-wordpress/

Please go to the Log/History tab and check only “All Cron Events” checkbox.

You should see ONLY crons executed from wget or Mozilla every one or two minutes. If you see nothing at all, “WordPress/4.8.3” or irregular intervals, your cron is not set correctly.

Right, checking only “All Cron Events” shows nothing. Get nothing for “Cron Warnings” either.

As stated, it was working perfectly yesterday with the same setup so the crons were working fine. I use WGET method. I have tried running the cron manually via SSH and it still doesn’t auto post.

Is there a particular cron event I can check to see if it is scheduled for auto posting via WP Crontrol etc?

I guess related is that the “Show Cron Test Results” page always shows the following…

Check is not started yet... Please Reload this page in couple minutes.

This means cron is not running on your site at all. SNAP will not work, not posts will be autoposted automatically.

    Please setup WP Cron setup:

I have cron setup 100% by the instructions you have outlined and have had it like that for more than a year now.

v3.8.8 worked flawlessly and it has only stopped working since updating to v4.0.11

Is nxs_hourly_event the only hook? That’s the only one I can see relating to the plugin using WP Crontrol and it’s scheduled to only fire once an hour?

    (@dfc005)

Right, after much investigation it does seem that my cronjob had stopped functioning and this issue has nothing to do with me updating the plugin.

What an odd coincidence! Monitoring now but hopefully, it’s all resolved now.

PS: Thanks for a FANTASTIC plugin. It saves me literally hours of time a week. Keep up the great work!

Unfortunately though, it’s still not auto posting.

I’ve 100% confirmed that other cron events are firing as expected.

I can confirm autopost is not working.

Confirm, not working with option “Limit autoposting speed” for me. Cron jobs are correctly 100% with curl.

Is there meant to be a “nxs_querypost_event” cron? I don’t have one and I suspect that’s why it’s not autoposting.

I added one manually and executed it which fired off all my previous scheduled auto posts.

Is the updated version not setting this cron up correctly perhaps?

Please go to the Log/History page and check only “All Cron Events” checkbox.

You should see ONLY crons executed from WGET or Mozilla every one or two minutes. If you see nothing at all, calls from “WordPress/4.x.x” or calls made at irregular time intervals, your cron is not set correctly.

Is there an update to this? I’ve followed all suggestions, Cron is working fine, still nothing has been autoposting since the last update.

Are you sure cron is working fine?

Please publish a new post, than check your Log/History page, check “All Cron Events” checkbox and let me know what do you have there.

It started working for me when I manually added the “nxs_querypost_event” on a five-minute cron rotation.

Bit of a hack but did the job. I assume the plugin is meant to schedule this itself but it doesn’t seem to be working.

I totally agree with all of you guys!!!! It’s the plugin that not working properly! I’ve bought it from the version 4, and i couldn’t post again nothing with the autoposter!!! I contact the support and always the answer is:

The question is that all of us have set the cron properly!!! @nextscripts maybe… i speak maybe… is better to check your code, all we are here to speak the same thing… so, or we are all stupid, or something is not set properly in your plugin…

Please fix it, we love what your plugin can do, but in this way you risk to lost your clients.
