I’ve been using the plugin for about a year, and the videos have always opened and started playing. Now the lightbox opens but you have to click the video to start it. I don’t see any settings in the plugin to get it to autoplay.

Hi @benmccullough74,

almost all browsers have changed their autoplay policies and even if we add the autoplay parameter to the embed URL by default, some seem to ignore it.

@davidvongries For my website auto play is working fine on desktop but not on mobile. Any solutions?

Hi @amitsksingh,

unfortunately, there’s not much we can do about those browser policies.

You can try to mute the video by default, that usually works as a workaround.

To do that, you can add the mute="1" parameter to the video shortcode.

@davidvongries Yes, I have used this parameter. After adding this it worked for desktop but not for mobile.

@davidvongries I have implemented this plugin on the slider with text “Wath The Video” https://www.fulltiltteams.com/

I am facing unique issue, when video opens in light box it takes 3 clicks to close. Can you please help me in this regard.
