Hi Eddy,
Autoplay isn’t working because modern browsers (including Chrome) block autoplay with sound. Unfortunately this is a browser policy, not a plugin limitation/issue.
Important note:
Autoplay behavior can vary by user. For example:
- On your friend’s device, the same player might autoplay if their browser allows it based on their previous media activity.
- On your device, it might not autoplay if your browser has stricter autoplay policies.
Browsers track media engagement and adjust autoplay policies per user. This is why it may work for some users but not others.
You can try this instead:
In your Elementor widget settings, enable both:
- Autoplay — already enabled
- Muted — enable this as well
Once both are enabled, autoplay should work. Users can unmute after playback starts.
Why this happens:
Browsers block autoplay with sound to prevent unwanted audio. Autoplay is allowed when the media starts muted. This is standard behavior across modern browsers.

If you still have issues after enabling both options, let me know.

Hi, Support Team.
First of all, thank you for your prompt response. I apologize if I didn’t specify this in my initial message, but I had already enabled this option (i.e., Mute -> Enabled) in the Elementor control panel during testing.
However, the audio track doesn’t start automatically once you log out of WordPress, i.e., when you access the site in user mode (live).
Thank you.
We are double checking the plugin if this kind of issues exist. We’ll let you an update know as soon as our test is done.
In the mean time could you please share the page url with enabling the Debug Mode = Yes/On from here https://tppr.me/7L3LuT
Thanks!
Ok, I’ve enabled the ‘Debug Mode’ into the control panel widget into Elementor plugin.

Thank you
We have checked your site as well as our plugin. From our plugin didn’t find such issue.
But we have noticed autoplay is set to disabled on your site. Please see this screenshot https://tppr.me/fBL7oJ
We will need to investigate further to pinpoint the issue and solve it. Would you please contact us here https://leanplugins.com/contact/ for further investigation?
Sorry. I’m in a quiet place, so I temporarily disabled autoplay. However, both before disabling it when I started this thread and now that I’ve tried to re-enable it, autoplay doesn’t start.
Thanks.
Thanks for the update. We understand this is frustrating. Browser autoplay policies are user-specific and can’t be bypassed by plugins. The same settings may work for some users but not others, depending on their browser’s media engagement history.
We’ve noted your issue and will keep it in mind. If we find a solution, we’ll implement it in a future update.
