Autoplay does not work

    Hello,

    I have implemented the following shortcode.

    [reviews_rating view=3 interval=3 loop=true]

    You can find it under “Kundenstimmen”!
    The blocker must be present in DE, unfortunately.

    Unfortunately the carousel does not run automatically.
    Only after I have changed once myself, it then runs automatically. But also the first change does not work with a click on the bullet but only with an arrow. Afterwards the bullet also works.

    In the cosole an error is displayed after clicking on the bullet!

    Hello again,

    in addition, I also noticed that it does not run on mobile at all. Neither with click on bullet nor by swiping nor automatically!

    @smgwebdesign It sounds like there is a JavaScript error in the page that is causing this to fail – this is how it would play out in such a scenario.

    I cannot find the page you mentioned in the first post. Please can you provide a direct link?

    @smgwebdesign I found a newly introduced issue with JavaScript in the Dashboard, which I’ll fix today with a new release. However, this doesn’t affect the front end. I’ll wait to hear back from you because I’d like to check for this potential error and get that fixed at the same time (if needed).

    @smgwebdesign I found the reviews section (I had to click a button).

    There is an error associated with the bootstrap.min.js. This isn’t part of the plugin’s code/files. I am not sure what I can suggest to resolve this, but it’s likely to be triggered by the classes: “navigation” or: “bullet” from the bootstrap script.

    A suggestion: disable the bullets (this is not required for the carousel functionality) and see if it starts. Both keyboard and swipe functionality will be unaffected.

    I will look into this further when I have more time…

    Hello,

    unfortunately the autostart also does not work when I hide the bullets. Even then I must first manually switch so that it runs automatically!

    I have found the error. The Content Blocker is the problem. Apparently, a JavaScript is then no longer loaded properly. I must now find out which script it is here to release it accordingly!

    I solved it, both bullets and autoplay go now. I had to block a JavaScript and set it to load after playing the Google Reviews. I so been a matter of blocking which is required in DE. Thanks for the quick feedback anyway!

    @smgwebdesign Ah, thanks for the update. I did think this was outside of the plugin’s remit. I’ll mark this as resolved.
