Automation trigger not working

    Hi there

    I have just updated my WordPress site today and am struggling with RUA. I’m trying to get going with the new Automation, but put simply, it either doesn’t work, or I have no idea how to configure it.

    Situation is as follows:

    I have created a new access level called “Subscriber only pages”. I’ve set the automation trigger to User Role -> Add membership when user gets role Online Studio

    I then go and add a user to this role. They do not get assigned to this access level and do not get access to the pages that it restricts.

    Am I doing something fundamentally wrong? I expected with the terminology of “trigger” that the assignment of a role should mean instant addition to the access level.

    Are you using any other plugin to handle role management?

    It is correctly understood that the trigger is supposed to be instant.
