[Resolved] Automatically post entries to sites like technorati?

Hi, I’ve had a search on the forums and plugins but I cannot find anything about this. With my Serendipity blog I was able to tick from a list of sites, like technorati where I would like my blog entries to be automatically posted to. It was an XML-RPC tool. Is this possible with WordPress?

  • Yes. WordPress is configured by default to send update messages to pingomatic.com, which automatically resends to Technorati as well as a few dozen other places.

Look at the bottom of the Options->Writing screen.

Note, these updates will not be sent if your blog is set to be hidden from search engines. See the Options->Privacy screen.
