automatically include an image in the body of a post? via the loop?

  • Hello.
I would like to have every post end with a small image that signifies the end of the article. If I were to do this manually, I’d simply link to the image in the post and float it to the right, but I’m wondering how it could be done automatically.

I’m no PHP expert, but have become fairly comfortable with the loop and other pertinent files.

I’ve added some other content to the end of the single.php file, for example, but adding the image there won’t work, as it appears below the content of the post and the navigation.

Editing theloop.php seems to get closer, but I can’t figure out how to get inside the actual text of the post this way.

    Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for any help.
