    Hello,
I am having a problem blocking the use of my translation file. A translation file is generated automatically, even when I delete it it reappears after a while. This is the “system” folder. I used to use Loco Translate on several of my sites but now I’ve been blocking for several weeks …
Thank you for the help you can give me.

Loco Translate doesn’t automatically generate any files. But WordPress will install/update translation files in the “system” folder, so don’t store your own custom files there.

See FAQ and follow links to the documentation: https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/faqs/files-deleted

Hello and thank you for your answer. I think I was not clear enough. My custom translation file is in: “languages/loco/plugins/”. The translation works until WordPress generates a file in: “languages/plugins/”. I have to manually delete this translation but it keeps coming back. Why is my personalized translation not a priority?
    Thanking you

I can’t explain this from where I’m sitting. Loco Translate is designed to load custom translations on top of installed ones, but this relies on many things beyond its control, such as the theme/plugin bootstrapping itself correctly.

You will have to either debug this process yourself, or provide sufficient information for me to install your theme/plugin and test it myself.

I understand. Do you want website access to see the problem directly for yourself?

I specify that I use loco on my site to translate other plugins without any problem.

Logging into your site is beyond the level of support offered. Bugs must be reproducible. That means providing steps to reproduce them in a controlled environment.

I specify that I use loco on my site to translate other plugins without any problem.

This isn’t surprising, or useful in diagnosing your problem.

For this plugin translation I managed without Loco and it works. Thank you.
