Automatically changes of .htaccess

    After testing for a while, I found out that every time when I add a page and so on, the .htaccess-file is being modified by WordPress. This means my custom-made changes to htaccess are lost everytime I change something to to structure of my website. I want to have a custom 404-page in the .htaccess.

    Everything between the #BEGIN WordPress and #END WordPress are subject to deletion. Put your custom stuff outside of those directives and you should be fine.
