Automatically abandoned

My client is exporting donation reports from Give and the status of many of them is “abandoned”. Having looked into their GoCardless account, the payments (in most cases) were actually confirmed after 8 days. I saw on a previous thread that Give automatically marks pending transactions as abandoned after 7 days – is there any way to change this, as my client’s Give reports don’t tally with GoCardless and I’d rather not ask them to manually update this.
