# Automatic YT thumbnails with play button

 * Hi everyone,
 * I’d like to quickly create posts composed of video from YT and description. I
   want to limit my role only to inserting the embed and description below. Plugin
   should generate a thumbnail for main collection and play button in the middle
   of it. Does already exist such a thing?
 * “Video Thumbnails” Plugin has two disadvantages or I can’t configure it. First:
   it inserts a featured image at the beginning of the post. Why do I need a featured
   image in the video post if the video itself is also a featured image? Second:
   VT doesn’t put a play button on a thumbnail in the main collection. Here is a

   Featured image can also be easily removed by CSS+JS, but isn’t there really an
   easier way?

 * Maybe you should search “Youtube” in the plugins directly and review the MANY
   options there for your sweetspot?

 * Hi George,
    Thanks for the answer. I have many types of posts on my blog and 
   I don’t want to change my theme grid, so I don’t think any of these plugins are
   helpful for me. Unless I missed something. Regards, Rudolph
