Automatic WordPress Core Updates not working on Hosteur.com

    Hi,

    automatic wordpress core updates do not seem to work on a hosteur.com VPS.

    Does anybody have the same experience?

    I read the pinned post, and there is no DISABLE_WP_CRON AUTOMATIC_UPDATER_DISABLED or the mentioned problematic plugins.

    The host is doing sometimes strange things, for example world writeable PHP scripts are not executed.

    Manual WP core updates work.

    Any suggestions how to debug this?

    It is really important for me to have automatic WP security updates.

    Sorry for the late reply @s3lf. Have you tried contacting the host directly and asking if they disable anything to do with this?
