# AUtomatic Update is not working

 * it needs 2 tries to update Sendpress, first update stops and brings an error 
   messate (something about remaining bytes)
 * why? Not every user tries a second time ;=)

 * I have realised my version is 1.7.7.17 and I see there is a version later than
   this. I thought they updated automatically. I only discovered it as I went to
   synch one of my lists and it has disappeared!
 * Any idea when the automatic update will be back or does it have to be done manually?

 * We haven’t seen this issue before. If you’re still having trouble, send us some
   more details and if you have server error logs that would probably explain the
   issue. Most likely to me is folder permissions or disk space for unzipping the
   install.
