# Automatic Update

 * My site was recently automatically updated and now my recent blog posts are missing–
   all blogs since 13th. February have vanished. I need to get these blogs back 
   so how do I undo this update and stop all further ones, please?

 * Thank you for trying to help me. It was my previous hosting company’s fault. 
   They have sent me a back up file, but I know nothing about uploading, so I am
   stuck. I guess my site will just have to stay the way it is.

 * If the posts are in admin but not displaying on the front there should be a way
   to get them to appear, but if you do not see them in admin, you will need to 
   restore the database.
 * What kind of file did your hosting company supply to you?

 * They sent me a zipped file. I was told to just FTP it to the site, but as I have
   no idea how to do that, the site will have to remain with the missing blogs.

 * Probably best to ask them how they intend you to restore it, or ask them whether
   they can resore it for you.

 * I think I shall have to manage without restoring the blogs, but thank you for
   all your help and advice.
