  • Can all Automatic WP Themes have custom.css file embedded in the template/themes so that people can change the css using this file without affecting the core themses and package.

I have just found that to have custom.css file in coraline theme, the only way is to create a child theme and sometimes this can complicate the issues.

It would be a good idea to have a blank custom.css file with the theme package for users to change as they wish. Obviously this file should always load last to over-ride the standard style.css file.

We suggest you make child themes instead

Incudling a blank custom.css file gives you the same issues that you get modifying any other core file. As soon as you od an update, your custom.css file is overwriten with the new blank custom.css file so you still loose everything anyway.

Child themes are pretty easy when you spend about half an hour looking inot them, and they ensure that there’s nothing lost when you do upgrades.
