    Hi,
    I’ve noticed that Easy Updates manager is sending me emails saying that my theme is updated, but when I check it hasn’t actually happened.

    Also the email shows an error in the update log:

    Updating theme: Thrive Theme Builder
    The theme is at the latest version.

    <strong>ERROR</strong>:
    

    [fs_unavailable] Could not access file system.

    I can update the theme manually without any issues and all my plugins are updated automatically by Easy Updates Manager, it’s only the theme that has issues.
    P.S. when I tried a different theme, it was still an issue.

    How can this be fixed, please?

    Hi Tim,

    Apologies for the late reply.

    Some premium plugins require specific update procedure or a license so the auto update works properly.

    Hi,
    That’s ok, thanks for getting back to me.

    I understand that premium plugins may need a special procedure.

    However, I have a number of plugins from the same company that produces Thrive Theme Builder and they are all updated correctly by Easy Updates Manager.

    What can be done to fix the theme update please?

    Hi,
    I talked to my theme provider and my web hosting provider and there is nothing wrong with the theme.

    I can manually update the theme at any time, it is only when Easy Updates Manager tries an automatic update (including if I press the Force Automatic Updates button) that I get the error message “[fs_unavailable] Could not access file system”.
    I receive a notification email from EUM saying it was successful but it still shows the error message and nothing appears in the log either.

    Would you please investigate further in order to fix it?
