    is there a way to automatically insert the alt tag and description based on the category and description? I have a market where users upload photos via mobile phone.

    Hi,

    Yoast does not have a way to automatically generate an alt-tag. We suggest reviewing the WordPress plugin repository for a plugin that can best match your needs: https://wordpress.org/plugins/.

    We will also keep this open for 5 days in case someone from the community is able to chime in with another possible solution, after which we will close in order to keep the overview.

    It would be a very useful option to add visa. For example, I have a market and users do not load the alt text.
