automatic review invitation emails not being sent

    Hi … i have a shop with virtual woocommerce products (both virtual and downloadable are ticked) but when the order reaches completed status the auto invitations are not being sent out. the scheduled reminders also are not being sent at the specified time.

    it’s a new site, and i just updated the plugin so all software is up to date.

    I have enabled manual reminders, which i presume does not mean that automatic reminders are not sent. When i click the ‘send review reminder now’ icon, the email is sent, but it is not sent until i click.

    the diagnostics screen is showing all is good…

    WP Version: 5.4.1
    WC Version: 4.0.1
    cURL Version: 7.62.0
    WP Cron: green tick
    WP REST API: green tick
    WC Slider: green tick
    WC Zoom: green tick
    WC Lightbox: green tick

    the other thing i’m noticing is that I’m using the trust badge on the home page and it is not updating as I get more site reviews. still investigating that, and not sure if that is related but thought to mention it here just in case it offers a clue.

    1. It is ok to use both manual and automatic options at the same time. It sounds like you have problems with WP Cron on your site. Please try using CR Cron for scheduling review reminders: https://help.cusrev.com/support/solutions/articles/43000540989-cr-cron

    2. Trust Badges are cached for better performance and are updated once in 24 hours. Please wait until the badge is refreshed and it will show all the latest reviews.
