    HI

I understand the point of automatic database back ups and optimizing however what is the point in automatic repairing? Does this want to be on?

    Thanks.

Nope, it does not have to be on. That feature is a request I got from one of my users =)

    Hi mdeluk,

I don't how big your site is but my site has about 200k visits a month and the wp_options database table is very often corrupted (it has 200k+ rows, size 21MB, index usage 13MB - highest among all my database tables!) so this may very well be my life saver.

    Hi Lester Chan,

How do I ensure that this functions actually works?
As mentioned above, the "wp_options" table has been corrupted a few times recently and caused severe disruption to our site.

When this "wp_options" table is corrupted, the whole site is not accessible as it shows "Error establishing a database connection". So, will your script still be able to run then?

    Warm regards,
    Eric
