Automatic redirect

Hello, I have a couple of questions about the website https://www.nervilampshop.com/ and the redirection plugin.
I must say that my team has not made this website, but we now have to work on it. The site has Woocommerce on it, and the English version was created with Italian contents (both descriptions and URLs). The redirection plugin was already installed on the website when we started working on it.

My main issue is that when I try to change the URLs from Italian to English in the Woocommerce product section, the plugin doesn’t create an automatic redirect as it would typically do. How can I fix this problem?

If I was to delete the plugin altogether and installing it again, would I lose the redirect that was created previously?
