    Hello

The plugin is working fine if I manually publish, but it doesn't automatically publish - why is this?

    Thanks

Do you have anything in the 'Body text' field? It seems if that is empty the auto-post doesn't work. Probably depends on content options, also.

You need to contact your hoster and ask for error log. in any case you can try this way to check if is there any problem in your cron system.
    -Install wp crontroll http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-crontrol/
    -Go to http://www.yoursite.com/wp-admin/tools.php?page=crontrol_admin_manage_page
-Click "run now" for "dg_tw_event_start" cron

If the cron does'nt run or all crons has the "next run" ever on "now" your host may have problems with dns or something like and you need to ask your hoster for this.
