[Resolved] Automatic post to One Year Ago

I’m curious, is there a plugin out there that will automatically post a link (snippet or something similar) to a post from a predetermined time (i.e. a week ago, a month ago, a year ago)? I’m looking through the plugins list but not seeing anything.

Thank you very much, I confess, I only browsed on WordPress.org and did not make full use of the interwebs.

I appreciate the response although I do have one simple question, just for a learning point for me.

What were to google search terms you used?

    Thanks again.

🙂 Probably something along the lines of “wordpress plugin one year ago today”

FYI, I’ve tried both of these plugins with no success. The time capsule one came the closest, but it only recalled TODAY’S posts, no matter what settings I used in the manage menu.

I’m using WP 2.0.X and have a very strict permalink structure of http://mysite.com/archives/XXXX. I do not use the /year/month/day/post-slug method due to a design limitation that requires me to have static URLs.

Is that the reason why the time-capsule plugin doesn’t work properly?

Is there anyone out there that knows how this can be rectified? I checked the code and it was hard for me to determine what, if anything could be changed.

Your help is greatly appreciated, as I’d love to utilize this useful plugin.

    Cheers!
