# Automatic plugin upgrade not working – ftp problems

 * I am trying to upgrade the plugin “Simple Events Calendar” but I cannot get it
   to work. I get the error message “Failed to connect to FTP Server [http://www.rdmac.org.uk/wp-content/:21”](http://www.rdmac.org.uk/wp-content/:21”).
 * I have created a new FTP account to do this so know I have the right settings.
 * Can anyone help?
