Automatic Password Update is not working

    I have the following Password settings checked:

    Set local password on first successful login
    Automatic password update
    Enable lost password recovery

    Whenever a user updates their Active Directory password and then attempts to log in to WordPress the WordPress local password is not being updated.

    Is there more to it than that?

    Hello @requincreative,

    the local WordPress password should be updated as intended when a user changes their Active Directory password. Please make sure you activated “Fallback to local password” if you want users to be able to authenticate against the local WordPress authentication. Please keep in mind that changing the password via “Lost password recovery” will NOT change your password inside the Active Directory.
