Automatic Paragraph wrapper wont allow me to align images left or right.

I am trying to use the alignleft and alignright feature, but it is useless cause wordpress is wrapping these with paragraph tags. Here is what I am getting.

I can’t get text to wrap around it because of the <p> tags.
