Automatic notification for new posts

    Hello,
    I would like my members to receive email notification for each new post published. I don’t see this option in UM, even with the Real-time notifications setup included. I have tested with Subscribe2 plugin, but then subscription is disabled by default and must be manually enabled by the member.
    Is there some way you know that I could have these notifications activated by default?

    Hi @missveronicatv,

    thanks for the lead! I’m looking into it. My situation is actually a bit more complicated than what I described (multiple CPT’s with each multiple categories, some categories mandatory, others active by default, but not mandatory, profile adjustable by member) – but BNF-WP might be able to pull that off using some add-ons.

    Unfortunately, UM doesn’t have this functionality. This requires customization on your end. Let’s see if others in the forum have done something similar and share their solution here.
