Automatic meta description not applied when using woocommerce API

    IN RankMath->Titles 7 Meta -> Products -> Simgle Product Description, I have added

    %title% %excerpt% <Relevant Text>

    to automatically create a meta description for each post.

    However, this is not happenting when I insert products using the Woocommerce API which is the case in my headless installation.

    On the other hand, there is no way (as I read in the fora) to provide a meta description through the API, therefore if I use RankMath, my posts will have a meta description that includes only the excerpt (which is the default).

    Is there a way to solve this issue?

    Could I possibly override in my functions.php the default which seems to be %excerpt% and make it %title% %excerpt% <Free Text>?

    Not sure which default value you want to overwrite.

    Here are the metadata filters that you can use to change the values on the frontend.
