 * I had the same problem: the scheduled backup settings were deleted.
 * Also, when I clicked “scan remote directory,” the backups disappeared because
   the synchronization with Google Drive was lost. I had to reconnect Google Drive,
   and then the backups reappeared when I scanned the remote directory again, but
   the link to download them directly from the dashboard was gone.
 * When I changed the name of the remote directory, the plugin created two folders
   with the same name.
 * I’m also wondering if the remote backups are also kept in the local environment
   in addition to the remote one.
 * So many bugs…

 * Hi @marcgagnondev and @vilo1968,
 * Thank you both for reporting this and for providing the detailed information.
 * We’ve identified the underlying issue and confirmed that, under certain circumstances,
   it can cause the plugin configuration to be reset unexpectedly. When this happens,
   the scheduled backup configuration is lost, and the configured local backup directory
   may also be reset to a new `backup-migration-XXXXXX` directory.
 * As a result, your existing local backups may appear to be missing, even though
   they are still present on disk. If you check your `wp-content/` directory (using
   your hosting file manager or FTP), you should find your original backup directory
   containing those backups.
 * To restore them on the plugin dashboard, go to **Where shall the backup(s) be
   stored?** section in the plugin settings and change the local backup directory
   back to the original location. After doing so, the local backups should appear
   again, and the **Download** button will be available for those backups.
 * Regarding the Google Drive synchronization, reconnecting your Google Drive account
   and scanning the remote directory restores the cloud backup list. However, until
   the local backup directory is corrected, those backups are recognized as cloud-
   only, which is why the **Download** button is not displayed.
 * We’re currently preparing a fix for the underlying issue and plan to include
   it in the next release. Once the patch is ready, we’ll share it here so you can
   install it to resolve your issue as soon as possible.
 * Thank you for your patience, and we appreciate you taking the time to report
   this.
