# Automate Task, Create multiple posts

 * Hello everyone,
 * I’m currently working on a website that display photos as a gallery.
 * I bought a custom theme, but my issue is that in order to display each photo,
   it has to be linked in a post in my Portfolio category.
 * I have 500 photos to display. My question is simple : is there a way to automate
   the same task, that is simply “create post from pic* and publish” ?
 * Or maybe instead of that, doing this task with a bulking function, like ‘select
   all photos > create a post for each photo”

 * Sorry for the slow reply. Just about anything you envision is possible, but it
   will likely require custom coding to get it done. If you are unable to manage
   custom coding yourself and don’t have such a resource available in anyone you
   know, you could hire help through sites like jobs.wordpress.net or jetpack.pro
 * If you don’t mind a crude user interface, the time required to develop a basic
   import code that creates posts could be minimal. Less time than manually inserting
   posts associated with photos 😉

 * Thanks for your answer. I didn’t have enough time to go into coding for this 
   project.
 * I found a workaround, I first deleted all the portfolio post I previously made.
   
   Then installed this plugin : [https://fr.wordpress.org/plugins/nextgen-gallery/](https://fr.wordpress.org/plugins/nextgen-gallery/)
 * It allows you to import a bunch of photo and display them as a gallery. It’s 
   not as fancy and clean than the wordpress theme I used but it did the work.
