Many hosts that run litespeed servers add this plugin automatically to customers’ WordPress sites in the interests of reducing the server load. This decision has nothing to do with the dvelopers of the Litespeed Cache plugin, but is a performance decison made by the host. To prevent this from happening, add an empty file named .litespeed_flag
to the root directory.
Thanks for jumping in, @pidengmor
You can also do this via cPanel: choose the LiteSpeed Web Cache Manager, select LiteSpeed Cache Management > WordPress Cache and “flag” your site. This will make sure your site is skipped next time the mass installation tool is run.
