Autoconvert Friends Names Hack

    This is a hack from b2 which I implemented quite a few months ago for WordPress. I had forgotten about it until someone mentioned it on here. So here it is as promised. This hack lets you specify friends’ name with a link associated with each name. Just like Smilies get translated in your blog, with this hack, everytime you mention a friend, it gets translated to his/her link on your main page. I love it because I dont have to set links for WordPress and Jennifer (my girlfriend) every time I mention them! I will have more hacks forthcoming in the next few weeks. I know that there is a my-hacks.php implemented, but I am still lazy after finals and this hack (and probably the next few) is not done in that fashion. 😛

    could somebody who knows what makes this thingy tick possibly make it differentiate between an email address and website link for me? *bats eyelashes*

    I had an error in the vars.php so I took it off.
