By default, successful payments in WooCommerc will read “processing”, as after a payment, vendors usually have to manually do something to complete an order, like mailing a package. Where as completed means the payment went through, and the Membership Level is assisted (for PMPro).
Completed — Order fulfilled and complete – requires no further action.
Having it auto complete means your new members will have immediate Membership access after the payment goes through.
