Auto Upgrade Errors to 2.5.1

Can anyone tell me what this means, and should I proceed regardless of the errors? I tried to proceed yesterday and it seems the process completed but got an error at the end that it failed anyway.

Says no such file or directory, but they are there.

The plug-in claimed that the file permissions would be set automatically to allow the upgrade.
I can’t get a response from the plug-in developer.

Any help would be appreciated, it took me several days to upgrade to 2.5 and thought this might be easier… perhaps not.
