Auto sort by category

    I have a client request I am unable to fulfil at the moment. I have a woocommerce website and the products have three categories, say category a, b and c.

    On the shop page the client wants to make sure that category a are shown first and most prominent, then on later pages of the pagination only wants category b and c to show and in that order.

    I have tried all the features on elementor and woocommerce and see no way to do this.

    I would be happy to sort by tag if needed. Please an anyone advise a solution to this that keeps all the products loading nicely on one page with pagination at bottom.

    I don’t want to have separate specific pages made for each category

    Any advice appreciated thanks`

    This product list is dynamic and updates daily so I would want the plugin to work with needing to be re saved

    Hi @guylevi

    Sorry to say but the plugin doesn’t provide that feature. You will have to create a custom loop using a main query and subqueries. The sub-queries will be for products so there you have to set the sort order to be “menu_order” Ascending.

    I can help you develop this as this is more like a theme feature that will take the help of the Rearrange plugin in it to achieve the requirement. If you are interested, contact me through my website (which can be seen on my profile here).
