 * Does the auto-save feature work in BP Docs 1.8.8?
 * I was working on a document and was idling for about 30 minutes when I came back
I accidentally reloaded page and changes were not saved.

 * I experienced a similar issue today. I was working on a document. When I was
finished working on the document I clicked ‘save’ and WordPress displayed the
message ‘are you sure you want to do this?’. Upon proceeding the document was
   again not saved.

 * Not sure if it’s a theme issue or a BP Docs issue. Anyone else experiencing similar
   issues?

 * I checked on the autosave functionality and it is working for me as expected (
actually better than I expected, ha ha). It is reliant on JavaScript though (
and WP Heartbeat specifically, IIRC), so there are a lot of ways that it can
be interfered with by other plugins/themes. You might try a stripped-down installation
that includes the minimum pieces needed and a TwentySomething theme and see if
it works, then add back plugins/theme until it breaks.
 * Or, you may be able to see a problem in your browser’s console, which is pretty
good at identifying JS conflicts. Chrome’s console is built-in and pretty easy
   to use:
